“I very nervously went to my first buggy boot camp session with Donna in January 2016. I had put over 4 stone on during my pregnancy and was extremely unfit. Donna was very welcoming and friendly to me and my little girl who was only 3 months old at the time. I really enjoyed the session and loved the way Donna would help out with trying to settle the little ones to allow us to continue with our workout.
Donna kept me motivated by making each session different. I loved them so much I attended come rain or shine (or snow!). The scaling options allowed me to continue to work hard but adjust anything where I was struggling too much. Donna caters for all abilities including those trying to get their fitness back. Her sessions have helped me regain my fitness to a level where I have now moved up to attend her more challenging Metafit classes.
Donna helped me to understand the changes that can happen to your body during pregnancy and giving birth I had a straightforward labour but yet I had no idea that I had Diastasis Recti. In fact, I had no idea what it was until Donna spoke to me about it and check my abdominal area. Once I was aware of this, I concentrated on the exercises that would help to rectify this, under Donna’s guidance.
I also attended Donna Pilates course which was invaluable to me. Due to my weight gain my breathing had deteriorated and I had to start using an inhaler to control what is usually mild asthma. The way Donna explained the breathing techniques during the Pilates course has helped me increase my stamina while exercising but it is also something I have been able to incorporate into my day-to-day life.
I feel very loyal to Donna and still travel from Hartlepool to Stockton to take part in her exercise sessions. She has helped me to regain my fitness, increased my self-belief and confidence but also encouraged me when I have found it really tough or had a bad day (sometimes bad week). In the last 20 months I have known Donna I have totally changed my eating habits and found a way to lose weight without taking part in a fad diet. To date I have lost almost 4 stone, I feel very proud of my achievement and Donna should as well because she has been with me from the start”.

“I signed up to the lean in 15 challenge with Donna, it was so great to fit in around a busy schedule and the kids. The exercises were enjoyable and encouraging and Donna demonstrates how to do each exercise to your ability which is great. If you miss a class, you can catch up later in the day which is prefect when you have kids and school runs etc. We were also provided with nutritional advice and recipe ideas. Would definitely recommend especially for busy mums.”

Before I fell pregnant, I was hugely addicted to exercise, still being in the gym at 37 weeks pregnant! I did lots of running, weights, cardio and anything in between! I’ve been adamant since having my baby that I would get back to my original fitness so I can be as fit as I can for my baby and be a good role model.
I found Donna by a recommendation from a friend, and she has been amazing! The online 15 min workouts have helped me get back to running 8.50min miles for 3 miles tonight!! And that’s all down to Donna helping me get my exercise mindset back, all whilst juggling being a new Mum! I now do the online sessions followed by online les mills whilst the baby is either sleeping or playing nicely!
I would 100% recommend Donna to any new Mum as all workouts have different options for your level!
And the Thursday buggy fitness is fab! All free and another good way to boost those steps and get the heart rate up!

“I’ve done Donna’s online fitness classes and her Pilates class. The online classes leanintofitness fit perfectly into my family life as getting to the gym with 2 young ones can be difficult. But these are half an hour fitness session I can do whenever I want through the week that last 30 minutes. For only £5 a week it was a great option to help me keep up with fitness and I’d always felt better after doing one of the videos.
I’ve also done her Pilates class which was great as I didn’t feel totally out of breath and sweaty after doing them but ached the next day!
Donna makes you feel comfortable during the sessions and is always really supportive, I would recommend her to anyone :)”
